Why IGA?

INDIA & GLOBAL AFFAIRS (IGA) is a quarterly magazine being published by the Sakaal Group of Publications. It reaches out to leaders of Government, business and the media in key nations throughout the world and offers them primarily Indian perspectives on issues of global interest and concern. These include foreign policy and strategic matters, economics and business, environment and energy, technology and culture, education and public health. The magazine will seek to highlight how developments in any one of these areas impact on developments in other areas.

Readers of the magazine include heads of state or government in countries that play an effective role on the inter-national political and economic scene; ministers of foreign affairs, finance, defence, commerce, industry, energy, agriculture, health, education, science and technology, environment and culture in these countries; key officials in the ministries; heads of leading think tanks, universities, chambers of commerce, central banks and financial institutions; CEOs and COOs of major public and private corporations; and, editors of influential newspapers, news magazines and television news channels. IGA will also reach out to the largest, most exclusive and well-connected network of business leaders in the world. IGA’s readers represent the leadership of the world. The majority of our readers are in the age group of 35 to 55 and occupying prominent and pivotal positions in their domain of activity. IGA transcends geographical, linguistic and cultural barriers to reach out to the decision makers across borders. The journal will be a critical input and high quality product dealing with topical issues.

Contributors to IGA are scholars, policy-makers and journalists with a proven track record of excellence in their field of endeavour. Most, though not all, are Indians, or of Indian origin, working in universities and think tanks in India and abroad. Other than meritorious contributors, an Editorial Advisory Board comprising eminent individuals representing diverse realms of human endeavour, and who have carved a niche for themselves, will oversee its contents.
